M.L. Butts & Associates was founded in 1989, in Omaha, Nebraska, by Myra L. Butts, to provide professional consulting services to both public and private enterprises. M.L. Butts has spent over 20 years providing public relations services to organizations and small businesses.
Myra L. Butts reigns from South Bend, Indiana, as a PK (Physician’s Kid). She was reared by a father who practiced family medicine and a mother who volunteered in civic and community affairs. They taught her about what it means to have love and respect for all of God’s children, and to be committed in service.
M.L. Butts & Associates now residing in South Bend, specializes in funeral preplanning, aftercare educational workshops & promotions, seminars and estate planning networks. Ms. Butts holds a BA degree from Drake University, Des Moines, IA, a Masters degree in Public Administration, from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and is a Certified Preplanning Consultant, (CPC), through the National Funeral Directors Association, (NFDA). One of M.L. Butts’ passions has been in the area of funeral preplanning and the desire to comfort those coping with a death. Her communication and event planning skills, empathy, compassion and care for the needs of others, has led her to reaching out and sharing her gifts. She has consulted with families seeking life insurance plans and advance planning services, in her affiliation with funeral homes in several cities; providing the highest level of respect, confidentiality and compassion to all clients.
M.L. Butts’ takes interests in the needs of families, guiding them through a most difficult experience in preparation of ones own death or that of a loved one. She has come to realize that memories are all that remain at the end of life and they should be treasured. The type of service for ones’ own Home going Celebration requires sensitivity, and an understanding heart filled with God’s love. Planning the funeral ceremony beforehand makes the service more of a celebration of life with memories lasting beyond.
The Company is focused on educating, encouraging and empowering elders, baby boomers and young people in a compassionate and caring manner. The Company creates, produces and markets coping and remembrance products for those grieving the loss of a loved one and for those wishing to record vital information necessary in prearranging a funeral and arranging other estate planning affairs.
